Welcome to yet another new location for Type 509 Spitfires, now renamed Dual Spits. This web site as before will try to continue to track the remaining two seat Spitfires of today. I also will attempt to give some history of past aircraft as well as follow the present survivors of today. However please bare with me while I update and correct the pages and links. I am looking at getting a domain name and possibly a sponser for the site.

I am still looking for information on the history of these aircraft. In particular Russian and Eqyptian information is very hard to recover. If you are able to supply any information at all. about these Spitfires please email this researcher - Care of-
