Amoeba Wars $14
Contents are complete and in excellent condition. The Special Power
cards are still unpunched. Box is in good condition but has a moderate
amount of wear on corners. |
 |
Big Shot $15
Big Shot is a majorities/auction game. Each turn four cubes (in the
player colours) will be auctioned with the winner places them in any
district he/she chooses. Once seven cubes are in a district, it scores but
since ties eliminates each other, having the most cubes does not guarantee
victory. (e.g. If a district has 3 yellow, 3 black and 1 red cube, the red
cube wins!) The auctioning can get downright nasty and you'll need to go
deep into debt in order to win.
Complete and in excellent condition. |
|
Boat Wars $5
Steve Jackson Games - Pocket Box edition. Clip-less enclosure. Uncut
counters.
|
 |
Can't Stop $18
Classic Sid Sackson game of dice-rolling. How far can you push your luck?
Complete and in excellent condition. Box is in good condition.
Includes extra pieces to allow for a fifth player. |
 |
Can't Stop (5 Player Expansion) $3
These pieces are identical to the original Parker Brothers' pieces
except for colour and allow you to play Can't Stop with up to five
players. Your choice of burgundy or gray.
|
 |
Cathedral $15
An excellent 2-player game where you try to surround your opponent's pieces with your own.
This is the Milton Bradley version which I prefer to the more expensive wood or polystone versions due to the detail of its plastic pieces.
Complete and in very good condition. |
 |
Civilization: Western Extension Map $125
Much sought after expansion to Avalon Hill's Civilization. Includes the
map itself and the rule-sheet but does not include the original envelope.
In very good condition. |
 |
Clue Master Detective $25
Clue Master Detective is very similar to the original but adds two more
weapons, three more rooms and four more suspects. This makes for a longer,
more challenging game. Don't play with the rules that come with the game
though. In regular Clue, only a single player (in clockwise order) will
refute a suggestion (by showing a card). In Clue Master Detective, all
players are required to do so. So, if I suggest that Ms. Scarlet did it in
the Conservatory with the Poison then I will positively be able to
eliminate or confirm all three elements since they will either be in my
hand, be shown to me by another player or be part of the solution. Ugh!
It's far better to play with the original method and the game works very
well when played this way. Components are complete and in excellent
condition. The box is in fair condition. |
 |
Clue: The Card Game $6
Card game version of the classic game.
Complete and in excellent
condition.
|
 |
Code 7 $40
Also known as Code 777. The object of the game is to deduce a
three-digit code that is hidden from you but visible to all the other
players (each player has their own code). On a turn, you'll draw a card
and answer it aloud. e.g. "Do you see more green numbers or more
yellow numbers?". Once you figure out your own code, you draw another
three numbers and continue. Whoever solves the most codes wins the game.
Complete and in very good condition. The box has minor wear on the
corners and "Crystal" was written on the front although it is
now barely visible.
|
 |
Dilbert: Corporate Shuffle $12
This Dilbert card game is a variant of The Great Dalmuti, which is
itself a version of the popular game know as President or A**hole.
Complete and in excellent condition. The box has very minor wear.
|
 |
Dominoes $10
A nice set of double-twelve dominoes. I particularly like this set as
the pips are colour-coded.
Complete and in excellent condition (includes
carrying case).
|
 |
Duell $10
A very clever and evocative two-player game from Reiner Knizia. Even
though the game involves nothing more than playing cards numbered 1-5, it
really captures the spirit of a fencing duel. This version includes
special cards that alter the gameplay but since I prefer it in its purer form,
I don't use them.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Dungeon Twister $18
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Enchanted Forest $10
Fun little memory game from Ravensburger. Players move around the forest looking at the symbol printed beneath each of the thirteen plastic trees (very cool!). At any point they may travel to the castle and look at the top-most card
-- if that player can reveal the tree with the matching symbol, they collect that card. The first player to collect three cards wins the game.
Complete and in good
condition although the rules are photocopies. The box top has one repaired
corner. |
 |
Foreign Exchange $8
Avalon Hill. Good condition.
|
 |
Grave Robbers From Outer Space
$4
"A sci-fi / horror B-movie card game. Bad acting, poor
special effects, and a plot with a thousand holes. These ingredients make
up the B-movies you love to hate and hate to love. Now you and your
friends can create your own B-movies with Grave Robbers from Outer Space,
the soda and popcorn card game that pays homage to the great turkeys you
stay up late to watch." For 2-6 players.
Contents are complete and in excellent condition, one deck of cards is
still in its original shrinkwrap. The flimsy tuck-box is in fair condition
with much wear on the corners.
|
 |
Heroes, Incorporated $20
Missing 1 of 12 generic "+1 combat" tokens, otherwise
complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
HeroQuest - Painted Furniture $60
This is a complete, painted set of all the furniture pieces from
HeroQuest. For detailed pictures of the painted items next to the
unpainted originals, click below:
|
 |
High Society $12
High Society is one of my favourite auction games. The object of the
game is to acquire the greatest collection of luxuries but (and it's a big
but) the player with the least amount of money automatically loses! I
don't like it so much with five players, four is alright but it absolutely
shines with three.
Complete and in very good condition.
|
 |
Illuminati: New World Order $40
Illuminati: New World Order is the collectible card game version of
Steve Jackson's classic game of secret society's and covert world
domination. This copy for sale is the "One With Everything"
factory set that includes every card in the first release of the game.
(Over 430 cards!) It does not include the 20 blank cards that came with
this set and one card ("First thing we do...") has bent corners.
Otherwise it is complete and in very good condition.
Also included are 101 cards from the Assassins expansion. (E-mail me if
you'd like a list of these.)
|
 |

Contraption is for 2-4 players who attempt to construct a maniacal machine
without blowing themselves up.

Not shown but included are the box, map, dice and rules.
|
 |
Master Labyrinth $16
Very cool game set in an ever-shifting maze. The board is a 7x7 grid of tiles each with a portion of a corridor on it. Every turn you push the one extra tile onto either a row or column which can radically alter the pathways on it.
Complete and in
very good condition.
|
|
New England $30
Alan Moon & Aaron Weissblum's game of early pioneers. Complete and in excellent condition.
My full review can be read here.
|
 |
New World $30
An old-school game from Avalon Hill about exploiting and colonizing the
Americas. Complete and in excellent condition -- all parts are unpunched.
The box is in good condition overall but does have wear, particularly on
the top left corner.
|
 |
Perudo $10
This is the traditional game that (in a round-a-bout way) was the inspiration for Liar's Dice.
Complete and in excellent condition. |
|
Phoenix $15
Phoenix is a two-player abstract game in which you are trying to
align your ten pawns to match the colour sequence of six master blocks.
This is accomplished by playing cards which allow you to swap and switch
the order of your pawns. You have to be careful though as your opponent
may switch pawns with you or even the order of the master blocks
themselves!
Complete and in like-new condition. |
 |
Pig Trotters $12
This is a great little game that has been published in various forms
under names such as Galloping Pigs, All the Way Home or this version, Pig
Trotters. Play is very simple: You're dealt a hand of cards, each
depicting one of the five piglets in the race. On your turn you play one
card and move that piglet to the next unoccupied space (hopping over any
piglets directly in front of him). If this moves that piglet into first
place, you collect a victory point. If that's all there was to the game,
it would be practically worthless, but there's a clever twist -- you only
get to keep victory points earned in a round if the last card you play in
that round moves a piglet to the front of the line. Play one round for
each player in the game. It's still very luck dependant but planning for
the future is required. A fun little filler that works great with both
young kids and adults.
This version has a mounted board and chits for the victory points.
Complete and in excellent condition. |
 |
Polarity $15
Polarity is a very unique boardgame in which the players place magnetic
pieces so that they are balanced on the magnetic fields of other pieces. A
very light touch is required especially once the playing surface starts to
fill up -- all the disks will start to wiggle and shake as you try to add
another piece!
Complete with 52 disks (plus the red center disk). |
 |
Police Academy: Ausbruch In Manhattan $5
Don't know much about this game other than what's on the box: 2-6 players, age 6+, 30-60 minutes. Its by ASS and obviously based on the movies.
Complete and in very good condition. (English rules NOT included.) |
 |
Queen's Necklace $12
Complete and in excellent condition. |
 |
Raid on Iran $12
Steve Jackson Games - Pocket Box edition. Clip-less enclosure. Uncut
counters. |
 |
Rummy 21 $5
Interesting Rummy variant using cards and tiles.
Complete and in
excellent condition.
|
 |
Runebound (First Edition) $15
Missing the Varikas card but includes a replacement as well as a copy
of the second-edition card. Otherwise complete and in excellent condition. The box has minor wear. Includes
the Shadows of Margath expansion.
|
 |
Scotland Yard $20
Despite the fact that the box says it's for 3-6 players, I find Scotland Yard
best as a 2-player game. One player controls all the detectives and the difficulty can
be adjusted by using 3, 4 or 5 detectives. This Ravensburger version is superior
to the Milton Bradley edition since the pawns do not obscure the spaces they are
on and the board does not feature a "valley" fold. The only thing I like
about the MB version is that it included 5 cardboard detective badges to
indicate which detective is which. Since these are especially useful when
playing the game 2-player, I will throw in a set of these badges.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Shogun $12
Abstract game from Ravensburger. Players have 8 pieces (one of which is their king) and each can move the number of spaces indicated (from 1 to 4). The interesting bit is that magnets beneath the board cause the number on each piece to change with each move. So, you're never quite sure of the future mobility of a piece until after you've moved it.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Squad Seven $18
Fun, activity-type game in which players will occasionally have to run
around the table and shoot an actual dart gun! Includes a CD that acts as
a timer (each game lasts exactly 17 minutes) as well as indicating whether
it's "night" or "day" (the rules change for each).
Includes only 4 of the 6 darts (one of which has slight damage
but this
does not affect its usability). The box has one repaired corner. Otherwise complete and in very good
condition.
|
 |
Time War $10
Complete and in excellent
condition. The box top has a surface tear and light staining.
|
|
TransAmerica $15
A very simple train game that distills route-building down to its very
core. Each turn players place 1 or 2 pieces of communal track on the
board. The first player to connect all five of his/her cities wins the
round (everyone else takes penalty points according to how far from
completion they were). Play several rounds until one player is out of
points and the player with the highest score wins. There's plenty of luck,
but the better players tend to win in the long run.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Treasure Quest $5
Simple Ravensburger game for two that takes about 5 minutes to play.
Each player has 10 large cardboard tiles showing diamonds or rubies and
several cut out sections. You take turns placing these tiles hoping to
reveal as many of your jewels on the tiles beneath.
Complete and in
excellent condition. |
 |
Vegas Showdown $20
Avalon Hill auction game about building the most famous casino.
Contents are complete and in excellent condition. Box has very minor
damage to one corner. |
 |
Victory: The Blocks Of War $20
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Warriors $10
Alan Moon & Richard Borg game that was originally intended to be a
card game version of Risk but re-themed to a fantasy setting. NOTE: Only
Warriors is included -- the pictured Dragon Hordes expansion is NOT
included. Shrink-wrapped.
|
 |
Wooden Ships & Iron Men $10
Missing 10 of 24 "full sail" counters, otherwise complete and
in very good condition.
|
|
Yummy $4
A simple, fast-playing card game suitable for the entire family. On
your turn you lay 1-3 cards on the appropriate pile(s). (Cards are numbered
3,4,5,6 or 7 and there's a separate pile for each number.) If you lay the
third 3 or the fourth 4 (etc.) you collect all the cards in that pile
(scoring one point for each card). The game ends once someone has depleted
their personal draw deck.
Yummy is not a terribly deep game, but it's lots of light fun.
|
 |
Zirkus Flohcati $6
Excellent light filler from Reiner Knizia -- it's a set-collecting game
with a push-your-luck element to it. On your turn you can take any of the
available face-up cards. If you don't like what you see you can add to the
pile as many times as you like, but if you duplicate the suit of any of the
cards, your turn ends and you get nothing. This is the German language
edition but an English-language set of rules is included.
Complete and in
excellent condition.
