A Dutch Website In the eighties, I started the pedigree research to determine my ancestry. The main result of my pedigree project is that almost all the persons with the surname de Boo in The Netherlands seem to stem from the same root. This is confirmed by the response I received to a mailing recently sent to all the known living de Boo individuals here. Our common ancestor is Jan Thonisz. (Thomasz.) de Boo, born circa 1620. He married Willemtje Claas.
