Years ago I read a book by Bob Mumford - I think that it was called, "The Purpose of Temptation".
Until I read that book I was always under condemnation and depression.
Bob talked about how there is a purpose to temptation - not that we would give in and sin - but that we would resist and thereby become stronger.
As we continually resist temptation our strength increases. Not that we seek out temptation but that we chose a life of holiness and victory.
One thing is sure - no matter where we are in our Christian experience - we do not have all the answers and there is always a higher level of authority and anointing waiting for us - if we are willing to pay the price.
Jesus has the crown for us - the perfect crown of gold and jewels - the treasure that lasts as we seek His face - and live a life of sacrifice.
1 Chronicles 29 v 17
